JACKS TOO MUCH FOR PIONEERS

The Pioneers faced the Jacks of Dakota College at Bottineau on Sunday, November 4.  It was a close game all the way through for the Pioneers and the Jacks.  The Pioneers found themselves on the trailing end going into the locker room at the half, 39-46.  MCC had turnover problems, allowing DCB 19 points off of turnovers.  The Pioneers outscored the Jacks in the second half, but it wasn't quite enough and the Pioneers lost a close one, 89-93.  

Gedeon Buzangu had a double-double with 26 points and 15 rebounds, while DA Wyche led the Pioneers in scoring with 27.  Wyche led the team in assists with four.  

"We saw some positives things on the weekend, but we still have a ways to go," commented head coach Chase Tait on the weekend. 

The Pioneers will play their first home game of the season on Friday, November 9 against Sheridan College at 7:00 pm.
