Balanced Attack Leads Lady Pioneers to Road Win

Binta Salawu continued her strong play with 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists as the Lady Pioneers (3-0, 11-8) took sole possession of first place in the MonDak Conference standings with a 83-69 win at Lake Region State. Olyvia Pachecco added 20 points and 9 rebounds while Claire Borot netted 17 points along with 9 rebounds. The balance continued as Lili Long scored 11 on the night. The Lady Pioneers had 24 assists on 29 field goals as MCC dominated the second half stretching a 2-point lead to as much as 19 in the 4th quarter. 

MCC hit 11-26 from the 3-point line and 14-16 from the FT line as the Lady Pioneers won their 4th straight game in January. MCC returns home Sunday afternoon for a 1:00 PM tip vs. Williston State.
