Friday evening, MCC traveled to Gillette, WY to participate in Gillette College's Holiday Tournament.  The Pioneers faced the Pronghorns in their first game.  The first half saw the Pioneers hang tight with the Pronghorns, matching their effort and not letting Gillette get any sort of momentum going.  Gillette led at the half, 46-37.  The Pronghorns shot almost 55% in the game and were able to outlast the Pioneers in the second half. After a hard fought battle, MCC took the loss, 78-97.

DA Wyche led the Pioneers in scoring with 20, followed by Akeemis Williams with 14 and Gedeon Buzangu with 12.  Joey Lodine led the Pioneers in rebounds with eight and assists with three.  

The Pioneers will face RMCJV tomorrow at 3:00 pm in Gillette, WY.
