Game 1 - Pioneers 13... Lake Region State College 3 (5 Innings)
The Miles Community College Pioneers popped out 20 hits and scored in every inning to start their 2025 campaign in impressive fashion with a 13-3 win over Lake Region State College on Saturday in Minot, ND.
Arin Eaton (CF - Belgrade, MT), Khloey Robinson (LF - Belgrade, MT), Sierra Tuss (2B - Belgrade, MT), and Viannca Martin (RF - Billings, MT) all ripped out 3 hits and Martin led the way with 4 RBI for the Pioneers. Rylynn Krein (P - Fergus Falls, MN) pitched a complete game for the Pioneers along with knocking 2 hits and driving in 3 runs. Martin's day included 2 triples as well.
In the circle, Krein pitched 5 full innings (8 H, 3 R, 2 BB, 9 SO) in an excellent performance in her first game as a Pioneer.
The Pioneers scored a run in the 1st inning, 4 in the 2nd, 5 in the 3rd and 3 more in the 4th inning.

Sierra Tuss and Khloey Robinson continued their strong days by ripping 3 hits each and Tuss drove in 2 runs and Robinson scored 3 times as the Pioneers collected 17 more hits in game 2 of doubleheader in Minot, ND. Mallory Webb (SS - Idaho Falls, ID) added 3 more hits as did Rian Ferriter (3B - Butte, MT). The Pioneers had 6 doubles in the game as well.
Rylie Schlepp (P - Helena, MT) got the start in the circle and pitched a complete game (6 IP, 9 H, 4 R, BB, 7 SO).
Bismarck State cut the Pioneer lead to 6-4 after the 5th inning but MCC added some insurance with 3 runs in the top of the 6th to put the game away.
