The Pioneers faced the Generals of Sheridan College on Friday at the Kailey Gymnasium.  MCC started off slowly and couldn't get into a rhythm against a hot shooting Sheridan team.  The Pioneers trailed the entire first half and the score was 29-34 at the half.  MCC came out strong in the second half and quickly regained the lead.  After forcing 26 turnovers in the game, the Pioneers took the win 70-61.  

Claire Borot lead the team in scoring with 17 points, followed by Kylee Meredith with 14, Patrycja Jaworska with 12, and Bre Moea'i with 11.  Borot led the team in rebounds with seven.  Jaworska led the team in assists with four.

The Pioneers return to the court Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm against Northwest College.
