The MCC Pioneers dropped their 3rd straight game of a 3-game road trip on Sunday afternoon in Spokane, WA. The Spokane CC Bigfoot of the Northwest Athletic Conference broke away from a close game with a 13-0 run to end the 1st quarter building a 25-13 lead and then never looked back enroute to a 86-55 non-conference win over Miles CC.
Spokane put 5 players in double figures led by Ayeris Jones with 16 points (5-9 FG, 1-4 3's, 5-6 FT) and got 8 rebounds from Camia Howard as the Bigfoot built a 36 point lead in the 4th quarter.
Lainey Smith (Sophomore - Miles City, MT) led the Pioneers in scoring with 14 points (4-12 FG, 3-9 3's, 3-4 FT) and was followed in scoring by Isabella Gurie (Sophomore - Columbus, MT) with 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 FT). Hannah Wildner (Sophmore - Melbourne, Australia) added 10 points (5-8 FG) off the bench and Gracie Anderson (Freshman - Harlowton, MT) snagged 10 rebounds in the loss.
