Miles City, MT - The Pioneers traveled to Powell, Wyoming on Tuesday evening to take on the Trappers of Northwest College.  MCC was unable to finish a strong first set and never got their rhythm back after that.  The non-conference matchup proved to be too much for the Pioneers and they ultimately fell, 0-3.  The set scores were as follows: 21-25, 14-25, and 12-25.

The Pioneers had 14 total assists, led by Samantha Bonenberger with nine.  Amaya LaFranier had five kills of the team's 17 total.  The Pioneers had 43 digs in the game, led by Kailey Thomson with 16.  Hailee Kuske had two blocks, while the team managed five.

The Pioneers will be in action again Thursday, October 4 at home in the Kailey Gymnasium when they play host to the Jacks of Dakota College at Bottineau at 7:00 pm.
