Miles City, MT - The Pioneers traveled to Bottineau, ND to take on Dakota College Bottineau on Thursday evening.  MCC started off hot and never let up in the first two sets.  After a slow start for the Pioneers in the third set, they were eventually able to recover to take the victory in both the set and the game.  The Pioneers defeated the Jacks, 3-0. The set scores were as follows:  25-19, 25-19, 25-22

Samantha Bonenberger led the team in assists with 13.  Taylor Stahl had seven kills to lead the team.  Kailey Thomson led with 24 digs on the night.  Leah Aigner had nine blocks to lead the team and Bonenberger also led the team in aces with seven.

The Pioneers will return home for breast cancer awareness night on Wednesday, October 17 at 7:00 pm when they take on Williston State College.
