PIONEERS DOMINATE BATTLIN' BEARS, IMPROVE TO 12-0

(Miles City, MT) The rematch game against the Battlin' Bears on Saturday afternoon in the Kailey gymnasium had the same result as the first matchup between the two teams.  It was all Pioneers the entire game, as RMCJV were unable to keep up with the intensity of MCC.  The Pioneers went into the locker room at half-time with a 42-18 lead.  The Pioneers shot 53.1% from the field and 44.4% from three.  MCC is number one in the nation in turnovers forced, and showed that dominance in this game, forcing 34 turnovers and outscoring RMCJV 46 to 2 in points off of turnovers forced.  The Pioneers finished the game with a dominating, 93-40 victory.  

Patrycja Jaworska led the team in scoring with 17 points.  Kylee Meredith had 14 points, shooting 57.1% from three.  Dakota Dosch also added 14 points.  Bre Moea'i added 13 and Claire Borot contributed 10 points.  Caitlyn Barkins led the team in rebounds with seven, followed by Meredith with six.  Borot grabbed five boards.  Jaworska had five assists to lead the team.  

The Pioneers will break for the holidays and return to action against Gillette College on January 4 in the Kailey Gymnasium at 5:30pm.
