MCC point guard Binta Salawu has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her basketball career at St. Peter's University in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Salawu led the Lady Pioneers in scoring (20 ppg) and assists (4 apg) while gathering 1st Team All MonDak Conference, 1st Team All Region XIII, and Honorable Mention WBCA All American honors. 

St. Peter's is a Division 1 school that plays in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
