PIONEER BASEBALL FALL SEASON UNDERWAY
Miles City, MT - The Pioneers fall season is underway and they started out hot with 2 wins over Big Sky Baseball in Billings, MT on Saturday, September 15.  
Game 1
In the first game, the Pioneers pitched a shutout to easily defeat BSB 13-0.  The Pioneers had eight runs in the first inning.  Ty Jones, Lewis Johnson, Keith Manby, Corbin Holladay, and Jordan Thomson all had RBIs in the inning.  
Luke Turner started things off on the mound for the Pioneers.  He went three innings, allowed zero runs and one hit, struck out three and walked one.
Keith Manby led the Pioneers with two hits in three at bats.  Jones hit a home run in the fifth inning.
Game 2
The Pioneers defeated BSB, 13-4 in the second half of the doubleheader.  
Sean O'Hagan was on the mound for MCC.  He gave up zero runs on five hits over three innings.  O'Hagan struck out four and walked zero.
 
The Pioneers had 15 hits in the game.  Anthony Bleggi, Jay Teixeira, Kiran Carcary,  Jack Stead, and Jakob Bierig each had multiple hits.  Nate Bloxham hit a home run in the third inning.
The Pioneers will take the field again tomorrow for another doubleheader against BSB at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
