Game 2

A big second inning for BSB was too much for the Pioneers to recover from, as they ended up losing 11-6 in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader.

Sean O'Hagan started the game for the Pioneers.  He pitched three innings, allowed five hits and six runs, and struck out one.  Chris Rofe entered the game for three innings, and Jared Bellows saw one inning of action.

Will Riley hit a home run in the seventh inning.

Will Riley, Lewis Johnson, Cade Stuff, and Keith Manby each had one hit for the Pioneers.

Sunday, September 23

 Game 1

Despite a big second inning by BSB, the Pioneers came out with the victory 10-5.

Jack Stead got the start for the Pioneers.  He allowed four hits and five runs over three and two-thirds innings, and struck out four.

Lewis Johnson went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Pioneers in hits.

 Game 2

A strong pitching battle on both sides led to a very low scoring game in the second half of Sunday's doubleheader.  The Pioneers ended up on the losing side, 0-2.

Keith Manby got the start on the mound for the Pioneers.  He threw four innings, allowed one run on one hit and struck out four.  Jayden Hamblin came in to throw three innings out of the bullpen.

Jakob Bierig, Cade Stuff, Kade Hickey, Anthony Bleggi, and Jared Bellows all had one hit on the day.

The Pioneers will be in action again this weekend as they head to Williston, ND to take on Williston State College on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30 starting at 1:00 pm.
