PIONEER BASEBALL ADDS MARTIN

PIONEER BASEBALL ADDS MARTIN

(Miles City, MT) The Miles Community College baseball team has announced that Thomas Martin will be joining the Pioneers for the 2019-2020 season.

Martin is a 6'0" right-handed pitcher from Missoula, MT.  He attended and played his high school baseball at Sentinel High School.

Thomas is the son of Charlie and Kim Martin and the brother of James Martin, a current MCC student athlete with the baseball program.

While at MCC, Martin plans to work towards a Business degree.

Martin on attending MCC: "It seems like a perfect fit for my personality; smaller class sizes help me learn and get more time with professors.  My brother, James Martin, loves the baseball program and the school as well.  Hunting is also a big part of my life and Miles City provides me with the opportunity to hunt.  I have never heard a negative thing about the school or the baseball program."

Coach Brabant on Martin: "I am always proud to get 'repeat customers' in our program.  What I mean by that is brothers and/or guys from the same high school/program to come to school at Miles and play baseball for our program…it proves that we treat our guys with respect and do the right things for them.  Thomas comes from a great family and a great program.  He will transition right away for us.  He has a ton of upside and we want to see how high that ceiling is.  I feel that with how we operate, Thomas will grow and be a large factor for us as we compete.  We are tremendously excited to have another Martin don our uniform!"
