(Miles City, MT) The Miles Community College Baseball team has announced that Taylor Morton will be joining the Pioneers for the 2019-2020 season.

Morton is a 5'11" Outfielder from Kalispell, Montana.  He attends high school at Flathead High School in Kalispell, Montana.

In Montana Legion Baseball, Taylor was All-Conference in 2017 in Class A as short-stop. He was also All-Conference in 2018 in Class AA as an outfielder.

Taylor is the son of Bodie and Heidi Morton of Kalispell, Montana.  He is planning to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy.

Morton on attending MCC: "I appreciate and love the interest from the coaching staff in having me join the team. I also like the fact that it is an in-state school I can attend while still playing the sport that I love. And from the videos I've seen, along with the people I've talked to, I am stoked to be on board as a Pioneer."

Coach Brabant on Morton: "Taylor is a big addition to our 2019-2020 recruiting class. He's a three sport athlete that had a ton of success at the high school level. Taylor's a Montana kid that's played for Coach O'Connell the previous three years, so he will come in knowing the system very well. He's a guy that has a ton of versatility and can move all over the place, as he's been an all-conference shortstop and an all-conference outfielder the past two years. With his athletic ability and the face that he swings it from the left side, we look to see Taylor make contributions right away. We're excited to get him into a Pioneer uniform and watch him grow over the next two years."
