PIONEERS GET PAST MYSTICS TO MOVE ON

(Devil's Lake, ND) The Pioneers had no trouble on offense today, winning big over Bismarck State College 8-2.  MCC pulled away for good with two runs in the fifth inning with solo homers by Will Riley and Nate Bloxham.  The Pioneers scored four runs in the eighth inning. The big inning was thanks to an error on a ball put in play by TY Jones and Chase Feller and a walk by Lewis Johnson.

Luke Turner pitched the Pioneers to victory. He went nine innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out 14.

MCC racked up 12 hits in the game.  Riley, Bloxham, and James Martin all collected multiple hits. Bloxham and Riley all had three hits to lead the team.
