(Devil's Lake, ND) MCC traveled to Devil's Lake, ND for a conference matchup against the Royals of Lake Region State College on Wednesday evening.  MCC jumped out to an early 10 point lead, but the Royals would ultimately regain the first half lead and the Pioneers found themselves trailing 36-43 at the half.  The Royals came out strong in the second half and quickly increased their lead on the Pioneers. The Pioneers ultimately fell 66-86 to move to 11-14 on the season and 3-6 in conference play. 

Issac Abergut was the high scorer with 16.  DA Wyche added 14 and Gedeon Buzangu had 10 points on the night.  Buzangu completed the double-double with 13 rebounds to lead the Pioneers.  Wyche led in assists with nine.  

The Pioneers will be back in the Kailey Gymnasium on Sunday, February 10 to face NDSCS at 3:00 pm.
