The MCC Men's Basketball season will open with a bang on November 1st when the Pioneers will play Eastern Montana rival Dawson CC in the opening game of the MonDak Conference Tourney. MCC returns 9 Sophomores off of the 2018-19 roster.

1st Team All Conference Selection Gedeon Buzangu (Democratic Republic of Congo) leads list of returners that also includes returning starters Issac Abergut (Australia) and Akeemis Williams (Las Vegas). Guards Deondre Northey and Jayvon Lewis (Las Vegas) also played valuable minutes last season. Newcomers to the Pioneers that should bolster the attack are guards Favour Chukwukelu (Las Vegas) and Jakim Ricketts (Livingston, MT) as well as forward Dunstan Esimone (Cameroon).

Tip off for the season opener at 4 Bears Casino in New Town, ND is set for 6:00 PM MST.
