Deondre Northey scored 28 points and handed out 5 assists and Issac Abergut added 21 points and 9 rebounds as the MCC Pioneers won back to back games at the MonDak Conference preseason tournament. Favour Chukwukelu contributed 13 poionts and Akeemis Williams had 11 in the 97-80 win over Dakota College-Bottineau. AK Kuany came up big off of the bench with 8 points and 10 rebounds. 

The Pioneers will play their home opener next Friday night when they host Sheridan College at 7:30 PM. Northwest College comes to Miles City on Saturday at 3:00 PM. MCC is 2-1 on the young season.
