Deondre Northey (Las Vegas, NV) scored 22 points, dished out 4 assists and had 4 steals to join 4 other Pioneers in double figures as MCC won its 4th straight game by defeating Northwest College 99-90 at home on Saturday afternoon. Gedeon Buzangu(Congo) had 16 points and 7 rebounds, Akeemis Williams (Las Vegas) knocked down 5 three pointers to account for 15 points, while Jayvon Lewis (Las Vegas) and Issac Abergut (Melbourne, Australia) each added 10. Abergut also led the Pioneers with 10 rebounds. 

The Pioneers shot 53% from the field and 52% from the three point line on the evening. MCC built a 16 point lead with 5 minutes to play in the game and held off a few late 3-pointers by the Trappers to move to 4-1 on the young season. Miles will host Jamestown College JV next Friday at 6:00 PM.
