The MCC men's basketball team used a hot shooting night and a balanced scoring effort from everyone enroute to a 104-62 win over Jamestown JV Friday night at the MCC Centra. 

Akeemis Williams (Las Vegas, NV) led the charge with four 3-pointers and 15 points and 3 other Pioneers hit double digits in the non-conference win. Gedeon Buzangu (Kinsasha, Congo) added 14 points and 6 rebounds, Favour Chukwukelu (Las Vegas, NV) came off the bench to score 14 and Deondre Northey hit for 12 and 3 assists as the Pioneers built a 22 point halftime lead to cruise to the victory. Dunstan Esimone (Tiko, Cameroon) added 6 rebounds and AK Kuany (Melbourne, Australia) 5 boards as the Pioneers held a 42-33 rebounding advantage. Jayvon Lewis (Las Vegas, NV) helped with 4 assists and 3 steals. This was the 5th straight win for the Pioneers and they will turn around to play the Providence JV tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 PM.
