Pioneer Shooting Reaches Arctic Lows

The MCC Men's Basketball Team shooting reached arctic lows Monday night in Gillette as the Pioneers shot a paltry 30% and could never get on track as Gillette (11-1) ran away with a lopsided 107-58 win.

Miles set season lows in FG% (30%) and 3-Point % (21%) while Gillette was clicking on all cylinders shooting 51% from the field and 47% (15-32) from 3-point line. Gillette had 5 players in double figures on the night as Jayden Coke (6'6 Soph, Toronto) came off the bench to score 26 points and Teonta McKeithen (6'4 Frosh, Detroit, MI) also came off the bench to add 22 in the victory. Mason Archambualt (6'1 Soph, Rapid City, SD) added 14 points and 4 assists, while Isaac Mushila (6'4 Fr, Astabula, OH) had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

The Pioneers (8-4) were cold from the start and only had 2 players crack double digits as Deondre Northey (6'1 So, Las Vegas, NV) had 10 points and 6 rebounds, while Gedeon Buzangu (6'8 So, Congo) had 10 points. Issac Abergut (6'6 So., Melbourne, Australia) led the Pioneers with 7 rebounds. MCC will close out 2019 on the road at Casper on Saturday at 3:00 PM MST.
