Akeemis Williams (5'9 Sophomore) hit 8-12 from the 3-point line and scored 26 points to lead Miles CC to a 108-62 romp of Lake Region State in the quarterfinals of the Region XIII Playoffs on Thursday night in Glendive, MT. The Pioneers hit 20-41 3's on the evening and used 21-3 run in the 1st half after falling behind 9-2 early and forced a semifinal matchup against NDSCS tomorrow night at 7:30 PM. 

All 11 Pioneers scored in a balanced scoring night. AK Kuany (6'5 Sophomore) came off the bench to score 15 points (7-8 FG) and snagged 8 rebounds while Deondre Northey (6'1 Sophomore) had 14 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. Jakim Ricketts (6'2 Freshman) hit for 12 points off the bench. The Pioneers held a 49-33 rebounding advantage led by Issac Abergut with 9. The Pioneers shot 54% from the field and 48% from the FT line. 

Myles Arnold (6'0 Freshman) led LRSC with 23 points (8-21 FG, 2-7 3's) and Beau Feltman (6'7 Freshman) had 15 points. The Royals season comes to an end with a 9-22 record while the Pioneers moved to 19-11 overall.
