Pioneer Sharpshooter Akeemis Williams signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his playing career at Division 2 Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Chowan competes in the Conference Carolinas.

Williams, a 5'9 shooting guard from Las Vegas, Nevada was 6th in NJCAA in 3-point field goals made with 110 during the 2019-20 season. He also connected on 85 3's during his Freshman season for a total of 195 in his 2 seasons as a Pioneer. As a Sophomore, Williams also averaged 13 points per game and shot 44% from the 3-point line and 85% from the free throw line. He scored 676 points in his Pioneer career.
