Pioneers 89... United Tribes 118

United Tribes Technical College jumped out to a 10-0 lead on the MCC Pioneers and never looked back in a convincing 118-89 MonDak Conference win for the T-Birds. After the first 2 minutes of the 1st half, the Pioneers stayed in striking distance of the T-Birds and trailed 56-44 at the half. Tribes continued their fast pace in the 2nd half enroute to 62 points to outdistance the Pioneers. 

United Tribes put 5 players in double figures and all 12 players that entered the game got in the scoring column. Famous Lefthand led the way for the T-Birds with 26 points (10-23 FG, 1-7 3's, 5-7 FT) and 7 rebounds. DK Middleton added 18 points (9-12 FG), 9 assists, and 6 rebounds in the contest. Sylvester Union put up 13 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3's, 2-3 FT) and Tyree Whitcomb rounded out the T-Birds in double figures with 10 points (3-11 FG, 0-1 3's, 4-4 FT).

The Pioneers had 4 players in double figures led by Blessing Adesipe (Houston, TX) with 29 points (11-22 FG, 0-1 3's, 7-9 FT) and 8 rebounds. Ben Datro (Montreal, Quebec) added 15 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3's, 3-6 FT),  7 rebounds, and 3 assists. Erick Barea (Celaya, Mexico) also had 15 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3's, 3-4 FT) and 5 assists while Denzel Kabasele (Lancaster, PA) had 13 points (5-12 FG, 1-3 3's, 2-2 FT).
