Shaheed Muhammad (5'10 Guard) scored 27 points (8-20 FG, 4-11 3's, 7-11 FT), 14 rebounds, and 6 assists to lead the Tetons to a 66-64 win in Miles City on Sunday afternoon. The Tetons picked up their first win of the season holding off a late Pioneer charge after the Tetons built a 11 point lead with about 10 minutes to play in the game. 

MCC tied the score at 62-62 but the Pioneers Denzel Kabasele missed a short shot at the buzzer that would have sent the game to overtime after the Tetons Benjamin Caraballo missed 2 free throws with 10 second remaining. 

Wilson Rankin (6'4 Guard) added 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-6 3's) and Moses Gordon (6'6 Forward) added 10 points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3's, 2-5 FT) and 9 rebounds. 

The Pioneers were led by Blessing Adesipe (Houston, TX) with 21 points (5-16 FG, 3-7 3's, 8-14 FT) and 16 rebounds. Ben Datro (Montreal, Quebec) had 12 points (5-13 FG, 0-4 3's, 2-2 FT) and 6 assists. Erick Barea (Celaya, Mexico) had 11 points (4-11 FG, 1-3 3's, 2-3 FT) and Shayden Cooke (Melstone, MT) added 10 points (3-8 FG, 2-4 3's, 2-3 FT).
