Jesse White (White Shield, ND) hit a clutch 3-point field goal with the UTTC T-Birds leading 81-80 with 1:45 remaing to help ward off a furious MCC Pioneer rally as the T-Birds took a 90-81 MonDak Conference win Sunday afternoon in Miles City. United Tribes took a 16 point lead with 8:30 to go before the Pioneers stormed back to cut the lead to 1. 

White (5'11 Sophomore) scored 20 points (8-11 FG, 4-6 FT) and added 6 assists and 5 rebounds to help lead to the win. DK Middleton (6'3 Sophomore) led the T-Birds with 21 points (6-8 FG, 2-4 3's, 7-7 FT), 5 rebounds, and 5 assists while Famous Lefthand (6'3 Sophomore) added 20 points (7-17 FG, 3-7 3's, 3-3 FT). Taren Sazue (6'3 Freshman) added 11 points (3-4 FG, 3-3 3's, 2-3 FT) and Tristan Davis (6'1 Sophomore) added 10 points (5-8 FG, 0-2 3's).

The Pioneers got a big game from Blessing Adesipe (6'6 Sophomore) with 33 points (12-20 FG, 3-8 3's, 6-7 FT) and 9 rebounds. Ethan Venema (6'7 Freshman) notched another double-double with 15 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3's, 3-3 FT) and 12 rebounds. Denzel Kabasele (6'3 Sophomore) added 14 points (6-18 FG, 1-6 3's, 1-2 FT), 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Payton Kokot (6'3 Freshman) added 10 points (3-7 FG, 2-4 3's, 2-2 FT).
