Trio of Pioneers Earn MonDak All-Conference Honors

Miles Community College basketball players Blessing Adesipe, Jessica Tomkins, and Denzel Kabasele have earned All-Conference honors as announced by the MonDak Conference on Monday. 

Adesipe, a 6'6 sophomore forward from Houston, Texas earned 1st Team All-Conference honors in men's basketball. In conference games this season, Adesipe averaged 23.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. He shot 42% from the field and 28% from 3-point range. He also shot 71% from the free throw line. In his 2 seasons with the Pioneers, Adesipe scored 1,132 points and grabbed 511 rebounds. Adesipe led the conference in rebounding and was 2nd in scoring. 

Tomkins, a 6'0 freshman forward from Melbourne, Australia earned 1st Team All-Conference honors in women's basketball. In conference games this season, Tomkins averaged 15 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. She led the conference in rebounding and was 2nd in the league in field goal percentage at 53%. Jessica scored 457 points and hauled in 339 rebounds starting all 32 games for the Pioneers. 

Kabasele, a 6'3 sophomore guard from Lancaster, Pennsylvania earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors in men's basketball. In conference games this season, Kabasele averaged 15 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists per game. He shot 43% from the field, 43% from 3-point line, and 65% from the free throw line. in his 2 seasons with the Pioneers, Kabasele scored 635 points and grabbed 213 rebounds.
