The Mon-Dak men's basketball player of the week is Ethan Venema from Miles Community College. Venema is a 6'7" sophomore forward from Manhattan Christian High School in Churchill, MT.  The Pioneers split games last week by beating Dakota College at Bottineau and dropping a game at Dawson CC. Venema shot 18-27 (67%) from the field and scored 46 points, grabbed 22 rebounds, added  3 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocked shots.
