The NDSCS Wildcats scorched the nets to the tune of 73% in the 1st half and 64% for the game and blew out the MCC Pioneers 108-64 on Monday night in Wahpeton, ND.
The Wildcats couldn't seem to miss as 5 players reached double figures in a game that was never really close from the start.
Aaron Williams Jr. (6'2 Sophomore) scored 21 points (7-9 FG, 6-7 3's, 1-2 FT) and he was followed by Calvin Sisk (7'2 Sophomore) with 18 points (8-10 FG, 2-6 FT) and 7 rebounds. Peyton Newbern (6'4 Sophomore) added 15 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3's, 4-6 FT) and 8 assists while Detavius Frierson added 13 points (6-6 FG, 1-3 FT) and 7 rebounds. Ja'Quan Ingram added 12 points (6-9 FG, 0-2 3's, 0-1 FT).
The Pioneers got 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-2 FT) off the bench from Koak Kok (6'7 Freshman) and 11 points (3-10 FG, 0-2 3's, 5-6 FT) from Ethan Venema. Kris English (6'1 Freshman) and Ryder Lee (6'5 Freshman) each scored 9 points. English hit 3-6 FG, 0-2 3's, 3-3 FT. Lee was 3-6 FG, 3-3 3's).
