Pioneers 95... Dawson 105

Dawson CC shot 53% from the field and overcame 34 personal fouls and raced past the MCC Pioneers 105-95 for the MonDak Conference Preseason Basketball tournament title on Sunday night in New Town, ND. 

Seth Amunrud (6'4 Sophomore - Bozeman, MT) had 28 points (11-21 FG, 1-5 3's, 5-5 FT), 8 rebounds, and 4 assists to lead the Buccaneers to the tournament title. Justin Asi (6'6 Sophomore - Melbourne, Australia) chipped in 20 points (9-18 FG, 0-2 3's, 2-3 FT) and Kur Maler (6'8 Sophomore - Melbourne, Australia) had 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-5 3's, 0-1 FT) and 5 rebounds. 

The Pioneers were led by Yohandry Ortiz (6'5 Freshman - Naples, FL) with 29 points (6-13 FG, 3-9 3's, 14-15 FT) while Azenio Cossa (6'2 Freshman - Maputo, Mozambique) added 20 points (6-12 FG, 1-4 3's, 7-11 FT), 6 rebounds, and 6 assists. Koak Kok (6'7 Sophomore - Ulan, South Sudan) had 14 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3's, 4-5 FT). Mack Page (6'5 Sophomore - Worland, WY) added 10 points (3-8 FG, 4-6 FT) and a team high 8 rebounds.
