Pioneers 115... Carroll College JV 68

6 Pioneers scored in double figures and MCC hit the century mark for the 2nd consecutive game as the Pioneers rolled to a 115-68 win over the Carroll College JV on Sunday afternoon in Miles City. 

Yohandry Ortiz (6'5 Freshman - Naples, FL) scored 27 points (10-17 FG, 2-6 3's, 5-5 FT), grabbed 6 rebounds, had 4 assists, and 4 steals to lead the way in the win. Azenio Cossa (6'2 Freshman - Maputo, Mozambique) added 21 points (10-14 FG, 1-3 3's) with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Koak Kok (6'7 Sophomore - Ulan, South Sudan) returned from missing the 3 previous games and came off the bench to score 15 points (5-10 FG, 1-2 3's, 4-6 FT) and haul in 6 rebounds while Randy Otieno (6'6 Freshman - Calgary, Alberta) added 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 3's, 0-4 FT). Mack Page (6'5 Sophomore - Worland, WY) had 14 points (7-11 FG, 0-1 3's) and had a team high 7 rebounds to go along with 4 assists. Colton Hawkins (6'5 Sophomore - Pueblo, CO) added 10 points (5-7 FG, 0-2 3's)

The Pioneers held a 54-31 edge at the half and led by as many as 49 points in the 2nd half after scoring 61 points in the 2nd half. 

Carroll was led by Jerick Hyde (Helena, MT) with 17 points and 7 rebounds.
