The MCC Pioneer Rodeo team had another successful weekend as the team competed in the Dawson Community College Rodeo in Glendive. The men's team placed 3rd overall and had some successful individual performances. In

In the long round performances over the weekend,  Blayne Hubing (Chinook, MT) finished 5th Calf Roping (11.7 sec) and teamed with Dawson Jackson (Delisle, Saskatchewan) to finish 10th/11th in team roping (17.4 sec). They finished 2nd in the short round to take 5th place overall in the event.  Daylon Danks (Mandaree, ND) hooked up with partner Cameron Handy (Recluse, WY) to finish 3rd in team roping (9.2 sec). Tristan Setzer (Dillon, MT) teamed up with Cole Trexler (Corvallis, MT) to take 2nd place (8.8 sec) and Trexler Also finished 3rd in saddle bronc riding and 3rd in the All-Around Standings.  

The Pioneer women's team did not score in the rodeo but did see some personal improvements and had some tough draws. 

Next up for MCC Rodeo is a trip to Havre, MT and the MSU-Northern rodeo on September 24-25.
