Ellie Martinez, catcher from South Weber, Utah, is the next softball player to sign with the Miles Community College Pioneers for the 2024-25 season!

Martinez will graduate in May from the Northern Utah Academy of Math, Engineering, and Science (NUAMES North).

Martinez batted .270 last season and has also played for the Colorado All Stars Nitro Fast Pitch for club softball. 

Ellie Martinez on why she chose MCC: "I am used to a small school setting and it felt comfortable! I was extremely impressed by the staff on campus that I met, everyone was very welcoming and respectful. I am very impressed with the coaching staff at MCC and am glad they were willing to give me a chance. The atletes were all welcoming and encouraging to all.
