Pioneer Softball Players Earn MonDak All Conference Honors

Pioneer sophomores Peyton Whitehead, Taylor Feller, and Cassidy Bagnell have earned MonDak All-Conference honors for the 2024 season. 

Peyton Whitehead (P - Joliet, MT) - Whitehead appeared in 20 games for the Pioneers this season in the pitching circle and went 10-7 for the season. She started 15 games and had 14 complete games. Whitehead pitched 92.2 innings and had an ERA of 5.21. She gave up 117 hits, striking out 69 batters, and walking 43. Whitehead holds the all-time record for pitching victories at MCC with 21.

Taylor Feller (C/3B - Laurel, MT) - Feller spent most of the season behind the plate but also played a little bit of 3rd base. She batted .366 (30-82) with 10 home runs, 4 doubles, and 33 RBI. She had a team high on base percentage of .577 and a slugging percentage of .780. Feller is the all time Pioneer leader in home runs with 20. 

Cassidy Bagnell (CF - Frenchtown, MT) - Bagnell batted .423 (47-111) with one home run, 7 doubles, 3 triples, and walked 21 times. She had a .522 on base percentage and .568 slugging percentage. In centerfield, Bagnell had a .959 fielding percentage with only 2 errors on the season. 

Bagnell and Whitehead have both signed to play softball at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. Feller is still exploring her options for next season. The Pioneers finished the season with a 24-15 record.
