The Pioneers faced the Dawson Bucs in the Semifinal round of the MonDak Conference Tip-off Tournament on Saturday, November 3 and ran away with the victory 86-44.  After a 10-0 run by the Pioneers to start the game, the Bucs were able to fight back to within two.  That is as close as it would come, however.  The Pioneers got into their rhythm and were outscoring the Bucs at the half by a score of 44-21.  The Pioneers wouldn't let the Bucs get anything going in the second half and MCC cruised into the Championship with with a final score of 86-44.

Patrycja Jaworska was the high scorer for the Pioneers with 26 points, followed by Lucia Salazar with 18 and Claire Borot with nine.  Salazar led the team in rebounding with seven.  Josselin Geer, Jaworska, and Laura Moya each had four assists to lead the Pioneers.  

The Pioneers head to the championship game to take on the winner of the semifinal matchup against Bismarck State and Lake Region on Sunday, November 4 at 1:00 pm.
