Saturday afternoon at the Kailey Gymnasium, the Pioneers faced the Trappers of Northwest College.  The Pioneers started the game with an 11-0 run and never let up, holding the Trappers to just five points in the first quarter.  After a dominating first half, MCC took a 43-17 lead into the locker room.  The second half was all Pioneers, and despite having some foul trouble, the Pioneers took the easy victory, 80-34 to improve to 5-0 on the season.

Kylee Meredith was the leading scorer with 14 points on the night, followed by Laura Moya with 13.  Caitlyn Barkins was the leading rebounder with seven.  Laura Moya and Kate Golovkina led the team in assists with four a piece.  

The Pioneers will be in action again on Thursday night in the Kailey Gymnasium against RMCJV at 5:00 pm
