PIONEERS EASE PAST JACKS

PIONEERS EASE PAST JACKS

It was another win for the Pioneers at home on Saturday afternoon.  MCC started out strong, once again, and took all momentum away from the Jacks early.  Hot shooting for the Pioneers was the difference.  Kylee Meredith has been having an exceptional season so far, shooting 44.1% from the field and 43.9% from three and adding another 13 points in this game.  After taking a 45-18 lead into halftime, the Pioneers came out again in the third quarter just as ready as they were in the first half.  The team as a whole shot 42.2% and 36.1% from three-point land.  MCC got into foul trouble late with Kate Golovkina and Josselin Geer both fouling out of the ballgame, but the Pioneers still took the big victory, 94-43.

Patrycja Jaworska led the team in scoring with 16, followed by Kylee Meredith with 13 and Dakota Dosch with 12.  Claire Borot had nine rebounds to lead the team.  Carmela Garcia led with six assists.

MCC will be on the road next, as they head to Gillette, WY to take on the Pronghorns on Tuesday, November 20 at 6:00 pm.
