MOEA'I SCORES 25 TO LEAD PIONEERS PAST ROYALS

(Miles City, MT) The Pioneers continued their winning streak on Thursday evening in the Kailey Gymnasium against Lake Region State College.  After getting out to an early 22-7 lead in the first quarter, the Pioneers allowed the Royals to fight their way back to within 10 at one point in the second quarter.  That is as close as they would come, however, before the Pioneers pulled away for good late in the second to take a 44-26 lead into halftime.  MCC's defense, once again, wore away at their opponent, allowing the Pioneers to run away with the victory, 85-51.  The Pioneers shot 55.4% on the night, forced 30 turnovers and had 16 steals.  The women's basketball Pioneers move to 3-0 in the conference and 18-0 on the season.
