The MCC Lady Pioneers struggled from the field and got off to a Rocky start but put together a strong 2nd and 3rd quarters to advance to the Region XIII Semifinal on Saturday afternoon. 

Freshman Olyvia Pacheco banged home 18 points (8-16 FG) and grabbed 6 rebounds to lead a quartet of Lady Pioneers in double figures. Sophomore forward Claire Borot added 15 points and 9 rebounds while MCC got a boost with the return of Lili Long from and ankle injury as Long added 11 points in only 11 minutes. Kate Golovkina came off the bench to score 11 as well and also added 7 rebounds. The two teams combined for 108 rebounds on the game as shooting was cold on both ends. MCC connected on 32-90 FG, 8-29 3's, and 7-12 FT. MCC forced 23 Teton turnovers as tle Lady Pioneers moved to 19-12 on the season. Williston State only connected on 17-62 FG and 3-13 from 3. 

The Lady Pioneers will face NDSCS on Saturday afternoon at 12:00 PM MST. The winner of this game will advance to the Region XIII Championship Sunday afternoon at 12:00 PM MST.
