Pioneer Women Move to 3-0

Rebekah Dallinger (Sydney, Australia) led a quartet of Pioneer hoopsters in double figures with 25 points and 4 assists as the Pioneer women jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first minute of the game and never looked back to move to 3-0 in league play with a 75-52 win over Lake Region State College. 

The Pioneers used a 48% shooting effort from the field (25-52) and only had 12 turnovers in the victory. Kate Tanner (Melbourne, Australia) came up big for the Pioneers with a double-double including 14 points (5-7 FG, 1-1 3's, 3-4 FT) and 10 rebounds. Jana Conejero (Malaga, Spain) and Lili Long (Melbourne, Australia) each added 12 on the night. The Pioneers held the Royals to 34% shooting from the field and created 19 turnovers for the game. 

Next up for the Pioneers is the rescheduled game against Dawson CC (3-0) on Tuesday night at 5:30 in Miles City. The game will be for first place in the MonDak Conference standings.
