Pioneer Women Survive Scare From NDSCS

Lili Long (5'11 Sophomore, Melbourne, Australia) knocked down 18 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 3's, 4-4 FT) and grabbed 7 rebounds to help the MCC Pioneer women survive a serious scare from NDSCS at home in Miles City as the Pioneers held on for a 57-51 win to move to 13-0 on the season. The Pioneers saw a 13 point 2nd half lead dwindle to 1 late in the 2nd half before Rebekah Dallinger hit a huge shot to go up by 3 and get the stop they needed to hold on and win. Dallinger (5'9 Freshman, Sydney, Australia) nearly had a triple-double as she scored 14 points (4-14 FG, 1-5 3's, 5-8 FT) to go along with 9 rebounds and 9 assists. 

Jana Conejero (5'7 Freshman, Malaga, Spain) chipped in 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-7 FT) and 5 assists. Olyvia Pacheco (5'7 Sophomore, Rawlins, WY) returned to the lineup after sitting out the last game with in an injury to lead the team with 10 rebounds. 

The 2 teams will go at it again on Thursday night as the Pioneers will try to remain undefeated during this COVID season.
