MCC Women Defeat UTTC for 2nd Straight Night

The Pioneer Women's basketball team kept the train trucking and ran their streak to 19 straight by hitting the century mark in a 100-69 win over United Tribes Friday night at the MCC Centra on Sophomore night. Lili Long (Melbourne, Australia) had a big night by hitting for 25 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 3's, and 9-12 FT) to go along with 11 rebounds and 4 assists to end her regular season home game career with a bang. Fellow Australian Rebekah Dallinger, the nation's leading scorer, had 20 points (5-16 FG, 1-5 3's, 9-11 FT), 7 assists, and 4 rebounds. Sophomore Olyvia Pacheco (Rawlins, WY) scored 13 points (4-6 FG, 3-5 3's, 2-2 FT) and 5 rebounds and Jana Conjero (Malaga, Spain) had 14 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3's, 2-2 FT) and 4 assists. 

MCC outrebounded United Tribes 54-27 in the game as Kate Tanner (Melbourne, Aus) added 8 caroms. The Pioneers led by as many as 36 points in the 4th quarter. 

The Pioneers have already clinched the MonDak Conference title but will head to Bismarck State on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM MST to try for 20 straight wins.
