Dallinger MVP, Long and Tanner Earn All-Conference Honors

The day after winning the Region XIII Championship and advancing to the NJCAA National Tournament, the post season awards for the Pioneers came rolling in. Freshman guard Rebekah Dallinger was named the MonDak Conference MVP and was joined by Sophomore forward Lili Long on 1st Team and Freshman forward Kate Tanner on 2nd Team. 

Dallinger , a 5'10 guard from Sydney, Australia leads the NJCAA in points per game (25.3), total points (583), field goals made (193-386), free throws made (145-203), and was 8th in assists (118). She connected on 50% of her field goal attempts and was 52-118 (44%) from the 3-point line. 

Long, a 6'0 forward from Melbourne, Australia was 2nd on the team in scoring (15.3 ppg) and also 2nd on the team in rebounding (7.3). Long shot 115-264 (44%) from the field and 43-122 (35%) from the 3-point line. She also hit 94-126 (75%) and will continue her college career at NCAA D2 Angelo State in Texas.

Tanner, a 6'2 forward from Melbourne, Australia averaged 8 points (72-174 FG, 2-3 3's, 40-66 FT) and nearly 10 rebounds per game. Her 223 rebounds ranks her 13th in the nation for total rebounds. 

The Pioneers are 23-1 and will head to the NJCAA D1 National Tournament in Lubbock, Texas April 19-24. They are the regular season MonDak Conference champions as well.
