MonDak Conference leading NDSCS Wildcats outscored the MCC Pioneer Women 18-9 after trailing 33-32 at halftime and a 16-0 2nd half run by the Wildcats held off a Pioneer upset bid. NDSCS freshman Grace Massaquoi scored 22 points (7-14 FG, 8-8 FT) and grabbed 11 rebounds to help the Wilcats hang on to the league lead.
In a balanced offensive attack for the Wildcats, Arianna Berryhill scored 14 points (3-9 FG, 3-3 3's, 5-6 FT), while Tiny Lewis (3-11 FG, 1-2 3's, 4-6 FT) and Ivy Fox (5-11 FG, 1-2 FT) each scored 11 points.
The Pioneers got another double double out of 6'0 Freshman Jessica Tompkins (Melbourne, Australia). Tomkins scored 15 points (7-10 FG, 1-4 FT) and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Pioneer charge. Becky Melcher (Forsyth, MT) scored 13 points (5-13 FG, 3-9 3's) and India Blyth (Melbourne, Australia) had 11 points (5-14 FG, 1-5 3's) and 5 assists.
