(Miles City, MT) Faith Tarter is planning to continue her career as a student athlete next season at Sheridan College in Sheridan, WY.

Faith is originally from Ashland, MT.  After two years at MCC, Faith graduated with a degree in Equine Management.

"Brett Badgett really helped me out with my horsemanship and riding in class. Tarter commented on her time at MCC.  "Just having access to such an awesome AAC (Ag Advancement Center) during the winter months was vital.  It's like any athlete who needs to be in the gym to stay sharp, well the AAC was my gym. Just keeping after it, working on my horses, and myself in some aspect each day speaks volumes when the rodeos roll around. I'm very thankful for the AAC and great people at MCC who helped me grow every day and improve my game."

Former head coach, Wally Badgett is extremely proud of Tarter, "Faith is one of the best student athletes we have ever had.  She is very capable and strong and will enhance any program that she is a part of.  Sheridan is lucky to have her."

Faith is looking forward to the future, "I'm entering a larger region with farther rodeos, and I'm guessing a little tougher competition. I'm excited about this because I usually rise to the level and perform best when the pressure is on. I'll sure miss the Big Sky Region and its people but I feel overall this is the best move to be the best I can be." Tarter commented.

Sheridan College is a member of the Central Rocky Mountain Region.
