2018 PIONEER VOLLEYBALL SEASON COMES TO AN END

Miles City, MT - After making the first round of the post season, the Pioneers traveled to Bismarck, ND to take on #2 seeded Bismarck State College on Wednesday evening. The Mystics took control early and never let up.  The Pioneers couldn't get anything started against a great Mystic team and ended up falling in three.  The set scores were as follows:  17-25, 10-25, 12-25.

Samantha Bonenberger led the team in assists with seven.  Bonenberger also led in kills with seven.  Kailey Thomson led with 18 digs on the night.  Amaya LaFranier had seven blocks to lead the team and Tori Ogolin led the team with two aces.

The loss meant the end of the season for the Pioneers who finished with a 12-20 record on the year.

Coach Chase Soennichsen is proud of the improvements his team made this year, "This season was a success because personal and team goals were met.  I look forward to see what the future holds for MCC Volleyball."
