PIONEER VOLLEYBALL ADDS EASTON

(Miles City, MT) The Miles Community College volleyball team has announced that Olivia Easton will be joining the Pioneers for the 2019-2020 season.

Easton is a 6'1"outside hitter from Billings, MT.  She attends and played high school volleyball at Billings Senior High School.

Olivia played 30 matches and had 125 kills and 21 blocks in the 2018 season.  She was a member of the Montana Juniors Volleyball Club.

Easton is the daughter of Mandy Easton of San Diego, CA and Raleigh Easton of Laurel, MT.   While at MCC, Easton plans to pursue a degree in Pre-Engineering.

Easton on attending MCC: "There were a lot of positive things that stood out for me when I visited MCC. I really enjoyed the close-knit feeling son campus. The Pre-Engineering Technology program is a perfect fit for me and my long term academic goals.  I most enjoyed my time on and off the court with the team and I immediately felt welcomed.  Coach Chase took the time to outline how he sees me fitting into the program and I look forward to taking my game to the next level with Coach Soennichsen."

Coach Soennichsen on Easton: "Olivia will bring a great presence to our offensive scheme. Not only does she bring height to our pins, she has a great court sense. She will be a great addition to Miles in and out of the classroom and on and off the court."
