The final match at the Casper Invite didn't go the Pioneers would have liked dropping a 0-3 match to Colby Community College of Colby, Kansas. 

Colby's sized proved to much for the Pioneers as the Trojans prevailed 25-20, 25-20, 25-13. The loss dropped MCC overall record to 1-3 on the young season. All 3 losses come to NJCAA Division I teams. 

Leading the way for the Pioneers on Saturday was Matilda Dietz (Manhattan, MT) with 2 aces and 12 digs. Samantha Bonenberger (Billings, MT) had 15 assists while Mariah Simmons (Hardin, MT) had 9 kills and Olivia Easton (Billings, MT) had 1.5 blocks.

Next up for Pioneer Volleyball will be a road trip to Billings on Tuesday to face Rocky Mountain College JV and then the home opener on Wednesday night against Northwest College of Powell, Wyoming.
