The MCC Pioneer Volleyball team finally got over the 5-set hump and came up with the biggest win in program history as the Pioneers edged the 19th ranked and traditional Mon-Dak power North Dakota State College of Science in a back and forth match 3-2. Freshman Sage Diegel (Miles City, MT) had 3 aces and 3 blocks on the night. Olivia Easton (Billings, MT) recorded 17 kills, Matilda Dietz (Manhattan, MT) 20 digs, and Samantha Bonenberger (47 assists) triggered the MonDak Conference opening match victory. The 25-22, 19-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-12 puts MCC at 1-0 in league play and 4-8 overall. Lake Region State College comes to town tomorrow night at 7:00 PM.
