NDSCS 3... Pioneers 0 (17-25, 8-25, 24-26)

The MCC Pioneer Volleyball team had it's home opening match on Tuesday night looking for their 1st victory of the season. The NJCAA 19th ranked NDSCS Wildcats had other ideas defeating the Pioneers 3-0 to open MonDak Conference action. The Pioneers hung in there for 2 of the 3 games leading 11-7 early in game 1 and had game point (24-22) in the game 3 only to see the Wildcats reel off the final 4 points to win the match. 

The Pioneers got 10 kills and 2 aces from sophomore Josee Krum (Worden, MT). Pioneer setter Trynadee Goldsberry (Laurel, MT) had 2 aces and 19 assists while libero Eva Boone (Billings, MT) had 10 digs. MCC is now 0-6 on the season and 0-1 in MonDak Conference play. The Pioneers will host Lake Region State College on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM.
